Stephanie + Rob | A golden hour session by the ocean
One of the kid's’ Christmas gifts this year was another trip to Mexico. I was SO excited to tell them. They kind of remembered our last trip (I think mainly from pictures and videos), Archer for sure remembers swimming every day, and Penny remembered that she had ice cream whenever she wanted. They were stoked when they found out.
We left at the right time - missing a huge snow storm by a few hours and escaped before the temp dropped to -42. There were some lows on the trip (we stayed in Puerto Vallarta and were at the resort when all the craziness happened - we were safe and mostly stressed but not scared), but ultimately it was a week of bliss. I took a break from cleaning, cooking and saying no. I enjoyed every moment, loved watching my kids have fun and try new things - we even tried octopus!!
When we booked I knew I wanted to do a session while we were there. The last time we went to Mexico I did the same thing (Check out their photos here).
Warm weather, sandy beaches and gorgeous ocean views - yes please! I joined a Facebook group with people going to the same resort - and soon enough I connected with Stephanie and Rob and together we planned their beach mini session!
It was a beautiful evening, it was a Mexican Fiesta night as well so we heard the mariachi band loud and clear during our shoot! This was such a fun session. We ran and played, hugged and giggled, listened to the waves and their family really just soaked in the moment and their time together.
