New year, new studio space, same fabulous clients and beautiful Saturday morning window light. This mommy & me session was GORGEOUS. I don’t really have much other to say. I’m going to leave Chelsey’s latest review here - kind words make my heart so full and my smile so wide. I’m so grateful 😍

“Mackenzie has a true gift for photographing unposed moments that show genuine connection. From the first session we had with Mackenzie it felt relaxed and comfortable-not like being part of a photoshoot. The way she interacts with my daughter is authentic and effortless and the connection she creates allows for beautiful and real moments to occur without it ever feeling forced.

We started doing mommy-and-me sessions when my daughter was only six months old. Since then, we have done multiple sessions including mini sessions, sessions in studios and sessions outside during golden hour. The pictures and videos Mackenzie has captured and created hold moments from chapters in our life that have gone by too quickly.

At the most recent session we spoke about how when my daughter was younger, I wasn’t sure it would be easy to get images that I would love as my daughter would not always cooperate. However, Mackenzie not only captures the closeness in motherhood, but also the chaos, the playful moments and the quiet-in-between moments. Every session we have done she has always managed to capture some of the most meaningful and special photographs and videos of motherhood that I have.”
